Pond Covers
Ever wonder what to do to keep leaves and debris out of your pond and stream in the winter,
especially in the fall?
Too much debris in the pond bottom encourages harmful bacteria and parasitic growth as well.
Bird netting just doesn't work as the openings are too big and it's a mess around the pond.
Here's a great solution. We construct a PVC frame, anchored very simply around the perimeter
of your pond and stream/waterfall, and cover the frame with the correct density of shade cloth,
which is custom sized to your system. The result is a very cost effective way to keep your
pond clean especially during the fall season, and everything disassembles and is re-usable for years to come.
Shade cloth will allow you to enjoy and see your feature and fish even when the system is covered.
Click the picture to see "through" the shade cloth. This is the way to keep things healthy and
cut way down on spring clean up.
Skimmers
If your pond was constructed without a built in skimmer, but you would like to skim the
surface automatically, the No-Niche skimmer is the answer. It gets plumbed into the pump
suction, floats and fluctuates with the surface of the pond, and draws the surface debris
into the mesh basket. It cleans the pond surface very well and can be installed into just
about any pond.
Two and Three-Way Valves
We use two and three way valves in all our installations to regulate and or to direct flow.
These valves are made of PVC, and are lubricated for life. They can be disassembled and the
inside replaced without the need for removal from the plumbing set-up. Stops are adjustable
to enable the return of the valve to the prior position. If you ever had a red-handle ball
valve stick or break, you know how valuble a quality valve can be.
High Performance Pumps
The new generation of pumps provide high flow rates, at medium head pressures, at the very
best Electric Effeciency usage available today. Some provide 3-inch fittings to reduce
friction and improve flow. Others allow for 5800 gallons per hour while consuming about
3 amps in power. If you have a pump using 6, 10 or 15 amps or more, you owe it to yourself
to see the new generation of Hi efficiency pumps today.
Aeration Pumps
Aeration is critical for good fish health in warmer temperatures. Georgia Ponds installs
Alita and KamAir pumps, with manifolds and quality air stones to insure adequate oxygen
transfer during summer months. Many pump sizes and configurations are available.

High Quality Filters
Filters need to be effective, healthy for the fish, and low maintenance. The current generation of
filters we use provide these benefits plus they are cost effective too.
If you have ever cleaned filter pads full of fish dirt, you will really appreciate these filters.
Leaf Baskets
If you have ever wanted a larger leaf trap on you external pump, this is it. Every
one of us have been frustrated with emptying pump leaf baskets too often. A larger
leaf basket needs to be emptied less often...this translates into a lot less
maintenance. Well, here it is. We call it our Big Leaf Trap (BLT for short) and
its one of our favorites. Its about 27 inches high, and the internal basket is a
whopping 9 inches in diameter, 16 inches deep !! This is an awesome item. The
inlet and outlet is even adjustable to accommodate your plumbing positions. One of
our customers in Roswell, Georgia has suggested that the BLT be installed into every
system.
Bottom Drains
Bottom drains are essential for good circulation and for the removal of dirt and sludge in the pond bottom.
These get plumbed to an external pump so that dirt is extracted from the pond at the same time
circulation is enhanced.
Ulatraviolet Light Systems
Ultraviolet systems kill suspended algae in water and keep your pond crystal clear. One of the
critical issues concerning UV systems is to "size" your system correctly. We can help.
Unions and Specialty Fittings
Unions provide you with the ability to remove components or equipment from your plumbing set up without
having to cut or hacksaw the PVC pipes apart. And of course, they allow quick and easy re-assembly
when its time to put things back together.
Not sure what you need?
Don't worry! We specialize not only in selling the highest quality products, but also in design and
installation. We can help you build a water feature that meets both your needs and your budget. Give

"Thank you for having your products available on the Internet. I got the Alita 80 Air Pump.
I will be using the pump to replace an existing pump on an Aerobic septic system, but thank you
for offering other products that you sell. Just wanted you to know that I thank you for taking
time to make sure your customers have every thing they need."
- Jeffrey S. Austin TX.
"After maintaining a submersible pump and box filter for almost 2 years, my pond was becoming
my second job. The new system has fulfilled my objective of less maintenance and more
ENJOYMENT. In hindsight, it was a GREAT decision to upgrade and to choose Bill Mason of
Georgia Ponds to do the work. My advice would be to go with what Bill recommends and don't
shortcut his design."
- Stephen K. Roswell, Ga.

# 3 -- The answer actually answered my question!! I'm already a happy customer and sure will
be back. My ponds and I have found a home. And I will spread the word. Again...thank you so
very much. Nice to see "old-fashioned" customer service still alive and well."
